North Alabama's premier American Saddlebred Facility! Established in 1967 on a beautiful 40 acre site in Hartselle, Alabama, B&W Stables offers a full line of services from riding lessons and camps to show horse training.

We specialize in English Riding and Driving instruction and competition with the American Saddlebred and Morgan Horse Breeds. Our riders enjoy Academy and Performance competition opportunities throughout the southeast United States. We offer instruction to all ages, and strive to have a very family oriented atmosphere.

We have been teaching Saddleseat horseback riding lessons to children and adults of all ages for over 20 years.  Heathermoor Farm Riding Academy has the largest horseback riding & academy lesson program in Alabama, equipped with 2 full time instructors and over 40 horses. We also offer a full service training operation for American Saddlebred horses. With our indoor and outdoor riding arenas, you can ride anytime, rain or shine! Whether you want to ride for fun and exercise or for competition, Heathermoor Farm Riding Academy is the place to ride!

Suzanne Schnetzler, the owner and trainer, has over 47 years experience training and riding American Saddlebreds in the Saddleseat style and has been teaching for over a decade. Her farm is her dream come true and she wants others to come experience the blessing and learn to ride, experience being outdoors and care for the animals.   She has a true passion for teaching children through adults to ride, and finds it important to spend one on one time with her students and horses. Suzanne is happy to teach you how to ride competitively or just for fun!

Saddleseat riding lessons are available at Stepping Stone Farm Riding Academy located in Chelsea, AL. The art of Saddleseat riding is a challenging, yet rewarding experience which any aged person can enjoy. Whether for fun or for show, Stepping Stone Farm Riding Academy can accommodate your needs in a safe, fun, family friendly environment. SSF is an accomplished riding academy. Owner Courtney Huguley has many titles for instruction from all over the southeast. SSF sits on 130 beautiful acres with a 24 stall barn, large outdoor riding arena and a covered smaller arena.
